Manhattan Bijoux
In 2004, Marcia G. Yerman was commissioned by the Big Apple Fest to design and fabricate an apple that would be part of a public art exhibit featured throughout New York City.

Manhattan Bijoux is a Plexiglas apple with an exterior painting and an interior constructed sculpture. The abstract elements capture the vitality and energy of New York City. At close proximity, a wooden sculpture encrusted with gold paint and Bavarian crystals can be viewed through clear circular portals.

Le Chien du Soleil is a gouache painting that was created for the DOGNY sculpture project. DOGNY, a tribute to Search and Rescue Dogs, was a public art campaign with the goal of raising funds to promote and advance canine search and rescue throughout the United States.
